Pots, Glorious Pots! with Annie Chrietzberg

This hands-on two-day workshop with Annie is for people who have been known to wear plaid with polka-dots with some clay experience who are trapped in the vortex of the wheel!  It’s for anyone with the secret (or overt) desire to mix patterns, turn the reverence for the potter’s wheel on its side, and explore form.  Yeah.

Techniques to be covered (but not limited to):  the making, use & alteration of templates, lifting a precise print from your texture tool, textured slab cups, handles, spouts, ‘puffed’ handles, double-sided slabs, altering thrown elements, altering thrown elephants, joining thrown elements with textured slabs, scoring, slipping & scoring again…

Come dressed to distract with a desire to create new possibilities in your ceramic lifestyle!
